Just over a month to go - the team is getting excited

We leave for India on February 14th, for a ten day visit to ASHA. Time is rushing on, and we still need to reach our fundraising deadlines so that we can bring ASHA more than just ourselves. Indian Evening for ASHA - a great success

The evening of Indian music and food was a tremendous success - our hall was full to capacity, and everyone enjoyed the evening. Thanks to everyone who helped with this.

2013 UPDATE - what's been happening?

Two years on, and we have success to report. The team travelled out in 2011 as planned, and the trip was a huge success. We'll post photos here soon.

And we are now planning the next trip to Delhi - a team of seven of us are travelling out again in early 2014, and so we are back on the fundraising trail again.

We went to "Hell and Back" for ASHA

Four brave ASHA supporters braved the Irish countryside for a 10km fundraising event known as "Hell and Back" today.


Toni O'Driscoll, Lydia Doyle and Liam Sweeney (not in pic) completed a 10km combination running & assault course....

All in all, good fun, and several hundred euro raised for the ASHA trip

Mid October update

The fundraisers have been busily working away, making good progress - and with just two weeks to go, they aren't letting up. The next event is a mad 10km adventure type race, called To Hell and Back. To find out more, click here.
